Ashley Darby has been a television and music personality in the United States for several years. When she was crowned Miss District of Columbia 2011 her name became an international star. Darby has been a part in The Real Housewives of Potomac since its debut in January of 2016. Ashley Darby is an entrepreneur with a love of the cause of hospitality and healthy lifestyles. Ashley was born in Maryland and is known for her strong personality, was infused with the tenacity to succeed. Ashley was brought up by a single mother to provide for her children's younger siblings as well as Ashley's older siblings. When she turned 18 she went to college at the University of Maryland and bartended on the side to help keep her as well as her family financially secure. Ashley was spotted by Miss District of Columbia Pageant while bartending and won her title in the year 2011. Ashley began with Michael Darby. He is an investor in real estate from Australia, with over 29 years of experience. Ashley found herself in a completely new environment. Ashley got married to Michael in the year 2018 and the couple became proud parents Dean Michael (born in 2019) and Dylan Matthew (2021). They spent 8 years in a relationship, before officially breaking up in 2022. Ashley is an accredited yoga teacher who is a firm believer in inner peace as well as the physical aspect. Even though she's having the fun of her life Ashley is working to figure out how to balance love family business, and motherhood. When it comes to her professional experience, Ashley is a television celebrity by profession. Her first job was working as a bartender to feed her family. But her passion for the fashion industry and entertainment has been evident since she was very young. She also entered the contest in a spirited manner. In 2011, she won the title of Miss District of Columbia and took home her title. In the following year, she was a part of Miss America, but she was not crowned Miss America. In the end she did receive an award. The scholarship awarded her $5000 cash and also won an award called the John Curran Award of Non-Finalist Interview.
